Instructions
Prepare the Milk
Start by heating the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until it’s steaming but not boiling. You can also warm milk in the microwave if you prefer. If you're using a non-dairy option like oat milk, this will still froth nicely, making it perfect for homemade lattes.
Add the Cinnamon and Maple Syrup
Stir in the pumpkin, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup. These simple ingredients add a sweet and spicy flavor that complements the espresso perfectly. Carefully use a handheld milk frother or wand frother to create a delightful hot froth.
Brew the Coffee
Brew your espresso shots or strong coffee. If you don’t have an espresso maker, no worries! A French press or instant espresso powder can work wonders for this recipe. Pour the coffee into your favorite mug.
Assemble the Latte
Pour the frothy, warm pumpkin spiced milk over the espresso or strong coffee. The best part is watching the milk mix with the coffee, creating that smooth and creamy latte.
Garnish and Serve
For an extra indulgent touch, add a swirl of whipped cream on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon. This is totally optional, but it adds a nice coffee shop vibe to your homemade latte.
