Stovetop Green Beans with Garlic | A Simple Side Dish

116 oz bagFrozen Extra Fine Green Beans (French) *Not cut green beanswe like Aldi's
2Tablespoonswater
1Shallotdiced
½teaspoonOnion Powder
1teaspoonSea salt
Instructions
Add 2 tbsp oil, diced garlic, and diced shallot to medium-sized pot. Set over a burner set to medium-heat.
Cook until garlic is fragrant and just starts to brown. About 1-2 minutes.
Add bag of frozen green beans and a splash of water (about 2 tbsp) to the pot.
Add about 1 tsp of salt and 1/2 tsp onion powder to the beans, mix to coat with garlic oil, and cover.
Cook for 10 min, stir green beans, and cook for about 5 more minutes. You can adjust this time based on your preferred texture. Add salt to taste and serve hot.
