Creamy Whipped Feta Dip With Lemon and Olive Oil
A creamy dip made with simple ingredients like salty feta and fresh bright lemon that’s great with veggies, pita, or crackers.

One of our favorite weekend outings on sunny summer weekends is heading out to a winery with friends where the kids can run around and play and the adults can sit and relax for the afternoon. We all usually bring some light fare, like appetizers, fruits, cheese, and veggies and it makes for a perfect relaxing afternoon. When we go I love to bring a delicious dip or spread to share and Creamy Whipped Feta Dip With Lemon and Olive Oil fits the bill! This delicious dip is creamy and bright and a refreshing appetizer for the summer months.
What Ingredients Will You Need?
- Olive oil, divided
- Plain Greek yogurt
- Cream cheese
- Block of feta cheese
- Fresh lemon: zested and juiced
- Whatever you want for garnish. Some of my favorites include: fresh parsley, lemon zest, a little more olive oil, fresh dill, fresh basil, chili flakes, Aleppo pepper, cracked black pepper, a drizzle of honey
How to Make Whipped Feta:
This recipe is so simple and fast to whip up (no pun intended!) that you may find yourself making it all the time this summer! Just place the cream cheese, feta, and yogurt into the bowl of a food processor. Pulse a few times to combine and then add in the rest of the ingredients except for the garnish. Pulse again until all of the ingredients are combined and the dip has a creamy and smooth texture.
Spread the dip onto a serving platter or a shallow bowl and top with your desired garnish. We like to add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, fresh parsley, and lemon zest. Chill in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.
If you have any leftovers, place them in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
